This page is about my favorite sport. It's not really America's game anymore, like it once was, but it's the best sport in my book.

Individual History

I started playing baseball in 1988. By 1991 I was catching for my team. My last year to play competitively so far was 1994. I hope to play again soon after I get into shape.

If you've read my More About Me page, you know that I can't use my left hand. In case you're curious, I play a lot like the former big leaguer Jim Abbott did. I use the same hand I throw with to catch with and I bat with one arm. It took a few years for me to master this but I do it pretty well if I must say so myself.

I'm a much better defensive player than offensive. I have a strong arm and good instincts although, honestly, I'm not as agile as I'd like to be and as I used to be. I'm a contact line drive hitter and I'm sure I can do better than that since I've gotten stronger in the past 9 years.

Anyway, enough about me, I just thought I'd share my history.
